A New Pierce Enforcer Pumper is in production at the Appleton, WI factory! Norwell Fire Department’s new apparatus features a 1500 GPM pump, 750 gallon tank, two 161″ FH/FD ladders, and 3 crosslays! June 1, 2024: Norwell Fire Department’s new Pierce Enforcer is now in production! This week the cab began fabrication, along with the pump house! Next week the cab may continue fabrication.
June 8, 2024: This week the cab completed fabrication and began the paint process, while the pump house continued initial assembly! Next week the cab may continue through paint while the pump house may continue initial assembly.
June 15, 2024: This week the cab completed paint and began initial assembly, the frame build began, the pump house was painted, and the body was fabricated! Next week these processes may continue and the body may be staged to begin the paint process.
June 21, 2024: This week the cab continued initial assembly, and the frame build continued. Next week the cab may complete initial assembly, the frame build may continue, the pump house may continue initial assembly, and the body may begin paint!
July 12, 2024: This week the body completed paint and was merged with the chassis followed by the start of final assembly. In the next report, the apparatus may continue final assembly!
July 19, 2024: This week the apparatus continued final assembly and released to test. In the next report your apparatus may complete test and release to quality and graphics where remaining content will be applied.
July 30, 2024: This week the apparatus completed testing and was released to quality and graphics where any remaining content will be applied. Once finished, it will be made ready for final inspection!
