July 12, 2024: Ashland Fire Department’s new 100′ Aerial Tower’s cab has completed fabrication and was staged to begin the paint process.
July 19, 2024: In this report the Ashland FD Aerial Tower’s cab began the paint process in metal finishing while the pump house structure was fabricated.
July 26, 2024: Ashland Fire Department’s new Pierce Aerial’s cab continued through paint while the pump house was painted and began initial assembly.
August 2, 2024: In this report the Ashland FD’s can completed the paint process and the frame build out began. The pump house completed initial assembly and the rear body module began fabrication.
August 9, 2024: Ashland FD’s cab was staged to begin in initial assembly, the frame build continued, the pump house was staged, and the rear body module completed fabrication.
August 15, 2024: In this report the Ashland FD’s cab completed initial assembly and was installed on the frame. The pump house remained staged. The torque box arrived and began initial assembly. The front body module was fabricated and began the paint process along with the rear body module beginning in paint.
August 23, 2024: Ashland FD’s apparatus pump house and torque box were merged with the chassis. The rear body module completed paint and was staged.
August 30, 2024: In this report the Ashland FD’s chassis was staged to continue assembly and the front body module was painted. The rear body module remained staged.
September 6, 2024: Ashland FD’s apparatus chassis remained staged to continue assembly. The front body module completed initial assembly and the rear body module remained staged.
