A New Pierce Pumper is in production at the Appleton, WI factory which is the latest addition to the Hudson, MA Fleet! This Pumper features and Enforcer 7000 Enforcer cab and chassis, 1500gpm 750 gal poly water tank. We are excited to be building this order for Hudson FD. January 6, 2024: Hudson Fire Department’s new Pierce Pumper is now in production! This week the cab began fabrication, which will continue next week.
January 12, 2024: This week the cab completed fabrication and began the paint process! Next week it may continue through paint.
January 20, 2024: This week the cab continued through paint, the pump house structure was fabricated, and the body began fabrication! Next week the cab may continue the paint process, and the body may continue fabrication.
January 27, 2024: This week the cab completed paint and the body completed fabrication! Next week the cab, pump house, and body will be staged to continue their respective processes.
February 3, 2024: This week the cab and pump house began initial assembly. This process will continue next week, while the body may remain staged to begin in paint.
February 10, 2024: This week the cab and pump house continued initial assembly, and the body began the paint process! Next week painting and assembly will continue.
February 17, 2024: This week the cab and pump house completed initial assembly, while the body completed paint. Next week the body may begin initial assembly.
February 24, 2024: This week the cab, pump house, and body were installed on the frame! Next week initial assembly will continue.
March 1, 2024: This week the apparatus completed initial assembly! Final assembly has begun and will continue next week!
March 10, 2024: This week Hudson FD’s new apparatus completed final assembly and released to quality and graphics! This process will continue next week.
March 15, 2024: This week the apparatus continued with quality and graphics, which may be completed next week!
March 23 2024: This week Hudson FD’s Pierce Pumper completed the quality process! It is now complete and ready for customer acceptance inspection. Congratulations Hudson Fire Department!
