September 8, 2023: Leominster FD’s new Pierce Arrow XT has begun production! This week the cab was fabricated and staged. Next week the cab may release to paint.
September 15, 2023: This week the cab began the paint process. Next week the cab may continue through paint.
September 30, 2023: This week the cab continued through paint while the body began fabrication. Next week the body may continue the fabrication process.
October 7, 2023: This week the pump house structure was fabricated, and the body completed fabrication. Next week the pump house may begin initial assembly.
October 21, 2023: This week the cab completed paint and began initial assembly, the pump house began initial assembly, and the body began the paint process! Next week all three processes will continue.
October 28, 2023: This week the cab continued initial assembly, the frame build began, the pump house continued initial assembly, and the body continued through paint. Next week these processes will continue!
November 4, 2023: This week the body completed paint! Next week the body may begin initial assembly.
November 11, 2023: This week the cab and pump house were merged with the frame while the body completed initial assembly! Next week the chassis may continue initial assembly while the body may remain staged.
November 18, 2023: This week the pump house was removed from the chassis. Next week the pump house and body may be merged with the chassis while assembly may continue.
December 2, 2023: This week the pump house continued initial assembly, which may finish next week!
December 8, 2023: This week the pump and body were installed on the chassis followed by the start of final assembly! Next week final assembly may continue.
December 16, 2023: This week the apparatus completed final assembly and released to initial test! In the next report testing may continue.
December 23, 2023: This week the apparatus completed testing and released to quality and graphics, where any remaining content will be applied.
December 29, 2023: This week Leominster Fire Department’s new Pierce Arrow XT continued through quality and graphics. Soon this truck will be released for final inspection. It’s almost complete!
