This latest addition to the Tewksbury, MA fleet features an 1500 GPM Waterous pump, 770 gallon New York Style Poly Tank, 45 degree control zone side mount, Husky 3 agent foam system, 20 gallon foam cell, ! July 12, 2024: Tewksbury Fire Department’s Velocity Cab began the paint process.
July 19, 2024: In this report Tewksbury FD’s Velocity cab completed paint and started initial assembly while the frame build began.
July 26, 2024: Tewksbury Fire Department’s new Velocity Pumper cab continued initial assembly and continued the frame build. The pump house structure was fabricated and the body began fabrication.
August 3, 2024: In this report Tewksbury FD’s Velocity cab continued initial assembly and was installed on the frame. The pump house began initial assembly and the body completed fabrication.
August 9, 2024: Tewksbury Fire Department’s new Pierce Velocity Pumper chassis was staged to continue assembly. The pump house was painted, then continued initial assembly, and the body began the paint process.
August 15, 2024: In this report Tewksbury FD’s pump completed initial assembly and was merged with the chassis. While the body completed the paint process and initially assembly, then staged.
August 23, 2024: Tewksbury Fire Department’s new Pierce Velocity Pumper body was installed on the chassis, followed by the start of final assembly.
August 30, 2024: In this report Tewksbury FD’s apparatus completed final assembly and testing. Released to quality and graphics where any remaining content will be applied to the apparatus.
September 6, 2024: Tewksbury Fire Department’s new Pierce Velocity Pumper continued through the quality process.
