The town of Wiscasset Firefighter’s new Pierce BX Tanker is new in production at the Bradenton Florida facility. This 2100 gallon poly water tanker comes equipped a1000 GPM, Rear Mounted Booster Reel. An aluminum body with integral hard suction hose storage compartment and roll-up door compartments with LED lighting. Watch as this tanker is built with weekly updates from the factory floor!

May 27, 2023: The new chassis arrived at the Bradeon, FL facility for Wiscasset FD’s new apperatus and next week will be in staging for the next steps. This officially marks the new tanker as “in production”!
July 3, 2023: Wiscasset’s fire pump began to receive valves and plumbing. The body is now beginning fabrication. Next week the pump house structure may be joined with the fire pump.
July 7, 2023: This week the pump house structure was joined to the fire pump, and the body began the paint process. Next week the body will continue through paint, while the pump house and chassis are staged.
July 15, 2023: The body of Wiscasset F.D.’s new BX Tanker continued through the paint process. The body’s paint is expected to be complete next week!
July 21, 2023: This week the chassis began initial preparations and the pump house was staged. Next week the pump house may be mounted to the chassis!
July 29, 2023: At the factory this week, the chassis continued prep, and the body finished with trim and wiring harnesses. Next week the pump house and body may be mounted onto the chassis!
August 12, 2023: This week the pump house and body were mounted, and the new Pierce BX Tanker began final assembly! Next week final assembly will continue with the installation of optional content.
August 25, 2023: This week the apparatus continued with final assembly. Next week it may move on to initial testing.
September 8, 2023: This week the apparatus continued with final assembly! Next week it should continue with final assembly and installation of option content. It may be released to testing.
September 15, 2023: This week Wiscasset F.D.’s new Pierce BX Tanker was released for pump testing, and began final product evaluation and installation of final content! The apparatus will be finished soon! Congratulations!
