Another Apparatus on the factory floor for the “City of Champions”! Brockton FD’s Aerial Ladder is now in production in Appleton, Wisconsin’s Pierce facility. We look forward to seeing this ladder as part of the new fleet for the city. Check out the weekly progress below.

February 17, 2024: Brockton Fire Department’s new Aerial Ladder is now in production! It started off with cab production this week, and will continue fabrication next week!
February 24, 2024: This week the cab completed fabrication, while the body began fabrication. Next week the cab may begin the paint process!
March 1, 2024: This week the cab completed the paint process! The body continued fabrication, which may be completed next week.
March 10, 2024: This week the cab began initial assembly, while the body completed fabrication! Next week assembly will continue.
March 15, 2024: This week the cab completed initial assembly, and the body began the paint process! Next week painting will continue for the body.
March 23, 2024: This week the frame build began, the torque box began initial assembly, and the body completed paint and began initial assembly! Next week the frame build will continue, along with initial assembly of the body and torque box.
April 6, 2024: This week the torque box and body were merged with the chassis followed by the start of final assembly! Next week final assembly may continue.
April 14, 2024: This week the apparatus completed final assembly and released to initial testing! Next week testing will continue.
April 20, 2024: This week the apparatus completed initial testing and the aerial device began initial assembly! Next week the aerial device will continue assembly.
