August 5, 2023: The Pierce Pumper has begun production! This week the pump house structure was joined with the fire pump and the body began fabrication. Next week the pump house may begin the paint process!
August 12, 2023: This week the chassis arrived!
August 19, 2023: This week the pump house began final assembly, and the body began to receive trim and wiring harnesses. Next week the pump house could be mounted to the body.
August 25, 2023: This week the chassis continued with chassis prep, and the body continued with trim and wiring.
September 15, 2023: This week the apparatus continued with final assembly and installation of option content. Next week it should continue with final assembly.
September 23, 2023: This week Prudence Island VFD’s new Pierce Pumper was released for testing! It began final evaluation, and any remaining content will be installed prior to release. It’s almost complete! Congratulations!
