Plaistow, NH Gets a New Aerial Tower!

Plaistow, NH Fire Department has a new Pierce Enforcer 100′ Ascendant Aerial Tower heading into production at the Pierce factory in Appleton, Wisconsin. This truck will feature a Waterous 2000 GPM pump, an on-board air system for the basket, two monitors at the tip, and the Pierce Husky 3 foam system. Powered with a Cummins X12 500hp motor, this rig will serve the Town of Plaistow for many years to come. Watch the exciting progress as we get updates straight from the factory floor!

March 10, 2024: Plaistow FD’s new apparatus is now in production! This week the cab began fabrication, and next week it may complete fabrication and begin the paint process!

March 15, 2024: This week the cab completed fabrication and began the paint process! Next week painting will continue. 

March 23, 2024: This week the cab completed paint, while the front and rear body modules began fabrication! Next week the cab may begin initial assembly, while the body modules may complete fabrication and release to paint.

March 29, 2024: This week the cab began initial assembly, the pump house structure was fabricated and painted, and the front and rear body modules completed fabrication! Next week initial assembly and paint will continue for several pieces. 

April 6, 2024: This week the frame build began, the pump house began initial assembly, and the front body module began the paint process! Next week these processes will continue, and the rear body module may begin the paint process.

April 14, 2024: This week the cab and pump house were installed on the frame, the front body module completed paint, and the rear body module began the paint process! Next week the torque box may begin initial assembly, and the rear body module may continue through paint.

April 20, 2024: This week the torque box completed initial assembly and was being installed on the chassis, and the rear body module completed paint and began initial assembly! Next week the rear body module may continue initial assembly.
