BME Stanley TYPE 5
The Stanley is BME's Type 5 answer for departments that need more water than a light brush truck can carry without stepping all the way up to a full Type 3. Built on a medium-duty commercial chassis with a 400- or 500-gallon poly tank, it gives crews real staying power on the fire line while staying maneuverable enough for two-track roads, driveways, and tight rural access.
Built for the middle ground
A lot of districts fall into a gap: a Type 6 runs dry too fast on a moving grass or brush fire, but a Type 3 is more truck than the roads or the budget call for. The Stanley is built to close that gap. The extra tank capacity extends your knockdown and mop-up time between fills, and the medium-duty chassis keeps weight and cost in check. Body configuration is flexible, so the compartments, hose beds, and pump layout can be built around how your crew actually works a fire.
