Skeeter Flat-bed Type 3

Skeeter Flat-bed Type 3

The Skeeter Flat-Bed gives your department the flexibility to configure custom compartments on both the sides and rear of the truck, dramatically expanding your storage capacity over a standard commercial body. In many cases, you can double your usable compartment space, putting more equipment exactly where your crew needs it on every response.

Every Skeeter Flat-Bed body is constructed with high-strength, lightweight aluminum, so you carry more water and gear without sacrificing payload to unnecessary body weight. Behind that is a structural foundation built specifically for severe duty wildland firefighting: larger frame rails, heavy-duty cross members welded at tighter intervals, and a spring-mounted chassis connection that you simply will not find on most commercial bodies from the factory.

Available on most commercial chassis, the Flat-Bed is straightforward to operate and built for easy maintenance, keeping your apparatus ready when your department needs it most. Highly mobile and designed to perform offensively with minimal manpower requirements, it is a capable and flexible platform for departments that need more out of every truck.
