October 28, 2023: The Freightliner chassis arrived in Bradenton this week and will be in the staging area while we begin the body.
November 18, 2023: This week the chassis began preparations for fire service and the pump was mounted. Next week chassis prep should continue.
December 2, 2023: This week the chassis continued with prep and the body began fabrication! Next week both processes will continue.
December 8, 2023: This week the chassis continued with prep, and the body began to receive trim and wiring harnesses! Next week chassis prep will continue and the body should be mounted.
December 16, 2023: This week the chassis continued with chassis prep and the body continued to receive trim and wiring harnesses. Next week the chassis should continue with chassis prep and the body should be mounted.
January 6, 2024: This week the apparatus began final assembly after the body was mounted! Next week it should continue with final assembly and installation of option content.
January 27, 2024: This week the apparatus continued with final assembly. Next week it may be released for initial and third-party pump testing.
February 3, 2024: This week the apparatus continued with final assembly. Next week it should continue with final assembly, and may be released for initial and third-party pump testing.
February 10, 2024: This week Buxton Fire Rescue’s new Pierce Pumper was released for initial and third party pump testing. This is the last report, the truck will be done soon!
