Meet Bill Kimball Our New Sales Representative for Western, MA & Southern VT!

Allegiance Fire & Rescue is thrilled to announce the addition of a highly experienced emergency services professional to our team! Bill Kimball has been deeply involved in firefighting, EMS, and law enforcement since 2008. With a rich history of service in Western Massachusetts, he brings a unique blend of hands-on expertise and practical knowledge to his new role.

A Journey from Firefighter to Industry Specialist

Starting his career as a call firefighter with the Gill MA Fire Department, he quickly expanded his expertise, joining the Greenfield MA Fire Department as a career firefighter in 2014. His commitment to emergency services is robust, holding qualifications as an EMT since 2010 and recently progressing to an Advanced EMT.

Reflecting on his transition to Allegiance Fire & Rescue, he noted, “I have been an integral part of several truck committees, which sparked my interest in the mechanics and innovation behind emergency vehicles. When the opportunity presented itself to switch sides of the table, I could not pass it up.” With his personal experience in making purchase decisions, he has the unique opportunity to serve his clients knowing exactly what they are going through as they make decisions on how to best equip their departments.

In-depth Experience with Emergency Vehicles

Throughout his career, he has worked closely with various types of emergency apparatus, from custom and commercial chassis to specialty vehicles, and has been responsible for designing and ordering police cruisers for multiple agencies. This experience will be invaluable in his new role, where he will focus on meeting the specific needs of emergency services through innovative vehicle solutions.
“I’m a nerd when it comes to emergency vehicles,” he admits with a laugh. “I love all aspects of them, from ergonomically designed storage and controls to custom features tailored to specific needs. My goal is to help build vehicles that not only meet but exceed the expectations of the brave men and women who use them daily.”

Commitment to Community and Customer Service

His assigned territory includes the four Western Massachusetts counties of Franklin, Hampshire, Hampden, and Berkshire, as well as the Southern Vermont counties of Bennington and Windham. His familiarity with these areas, combined with a straightforward and honest approach to sales and customer service, will help him serve these communities effectively.

“I’ve learned from being a customer myself that the best sales reps are those who are down-to-earth, friendly, and honest,” he explains. “I strive to make the purchasing process as easy and stress-free as possible, which is crucial in building long-lasting relationships with our clients.”

Looking Ahead

Eager to start his new chapter with Allegiance Fire & Rescue, he is focused on networking and building a strong reputation as a reliable and innovative sales representative. His dedication to continual improvement and customer satisfaction mirrors the values of Allegiance Fire & Rescue, promising a bright future ahead.

Bill O’Connor, Vice President for Fire & Rescue said, “We are happy to have Bill and feel that his background will be a great addition to serving our customers. Bill has proven from day one that he has an enormous eye for detail and this matters when you are building a complex vehicle to meet the daily rigors of emergency response. Bill embodies our philosophy of serving those who serve others.”

We are excited to welcome Bill K to our team and are confident that his extensive background and proactive approach will enhance our services and strengthen our connections with the fire and rescue communities.
